WHAT IS EXERCISE?

When we talk about Exercise, we nearly always refer to Physical exercise. Exercise has different definitions and below is a list of them;
Exercise is the physical exertion of the body, making the body do a physical activity which results in a healthier level of physical fitness for both physical and mental health. 
Exercise is any physical activity that makes your body use more energy than it would normally, makes you breathe a bit harder and makes your heart beat faster. Anything physical can be exercise. For instance, a short walk or bike ride, climbing a flight of stairs, dancing, household chores or gardening. 
Exercise is also known as physical activity. In simple terms exercise is any movement that works your body at a greater intensity than your usual level of daily activity. Exercise raises your heart rate and works your muscles and is most commonly undertaken to achieve the aim of physical fitness. 
In other words, exercise aims to maintain or enhance our physical fitness and general health. People exercise for many different reasons while some people do not exercise for various reasons. Some of the reasons why people exercise are included below:
To strengthen the muscles.
To optimize the cardiovascular system.
To practice specific athletic skills.
To control body weight.
For fun.
To win.
To socialize.
To get away from it all.
